Usage of Visolve Deflector

By using Visolve Deflector, you can transform color in the specified area, or color of the entire screen. Moreover, you can adjust the transformation degree and can change the appearance of Visolve Toolbar.

Basic operation

When you run Visolve Deflector, it will show the following frame window.

Using this window, you can do the three basic operations as follows:
  1. Capture the screen image
    by selecting the menu or pressing the shortcut key after moving or resizing the frame window,

  2. Apply the color transformation or the hatching
    into the captured image by selecting the menu or pressing the shortcut key, and

  3. Clear the image
    by selecting the menu or pressing the shortcut key.

Change the initial setting

With the preferences dialog shown by the menu, you can do the following:

1. to select the transformation

to select the color transformation or the hatching which is executed at the same time as capturing screen image, then you can skip the above-mentioned second step,
2. to adjust the transformation degree

to adjust the transformation degree, (this setting is also reflected to Visolve Toolbar,)
3. to adjust the filtering color

to adjust the color range and the transmittance for the filters, (this setting is also reflected to Visolve Toolbar,)
4. to adjust the hatching method

to adjust the hatching method and to specify its options, (this setting is also reflected to Visolve Toolbar,)
5. to select the toolbar buttons

to select the buttons for Visolve Toolbar.


Operation in TaskTray / Status bar

You can place the Visolve icon to the TaskTray notification area (Windows version), or to the Status bar (Mac OS X version). At this time, the above frame window is hidden.

When you click the icon in the TaskTray/Status bar, the color transformation is applied into the entire screen. The transformation executed at this time is the one you selected as the one executed at the same time as capturing screen image.
When you click anywhere on the desktop, the screen will be returned to the original color. While the transformed image is displayed, the cursor is the following shape:
